Pía Marchegiani

holds a Law Degree (University of Buenos Aires); a MA in Social Sciences “Global Studies Programme” (joint degree from the University of Freiburg, Germany and University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa); and a Phd in Social Sciences (FLACSO Argentina). She is lecturer and associate researcher of the Global Studies Programme at Flacso-Argentina. She is Environmental Policy Director and Deputy Director at Fundación Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (FARN) in which she works to enforce the rights of communities in extractive activities context, and has been participating in different policy debates and spaces on the topics of minerals, human rights and environment.
