
Stientje van Veldhoven
Stientje van Veldhoven is the Vice President and Regional Director for Europe at the World Resources Institute. A former Dutch cabinet minister and longtime member of Parliament, she has shaped national and EU policy on environment, housing, public transport, climate, energy, and the circular economy. Her career also includes diplomatic roles in Brussels and work with the European Commission, reflecting a deep commitment to systemic environmental progress. She is also a co-founder of the Systems Transformation Hub, a Brussels-based partnership that provides guidance to EU institutions to accelerate systemic policy change.
