Fred Pearce

Fred Pearce is a UK-based freelance author and journalist with over 30 years of experience reporting on environmental, science and development issues. He has worked in more than 80 countries, producing in-depth reporting that links scientific research with global environmental and social challenges. As a freelancer, he regularly contributes to Yale Environment 360, The Guardian, New Scientist and other leading publications. He is also the author of several influential books, including The Land Grabbers and When the Rivers Run Dry.
